Passive Income Investment
Over the last couple of years I have spent
time reading about and studying several people who are truly financially
free. I'm talking about those who work only by choice or not at
all because they have enough residual income from various investments
and income producing assets, that a job is not necessary.
These people have learned to invest in assets,
not liabilities. If you read Robert Kiyosaki's book, Rich Dad
Poor Dad, you'll discover the true meaning of an asset. There
are 2 different places you can invest your money.
You can invest in things called liabilities,
which is something that costs you money. This can be better
defined as stuff. This is what most people do with their income.
They invest in things for their house such as furniture or knick-knacks,
or in a new automobile that carries a significant monthly payment.
Many say that there house is an asset, but by our definition, a house is
a liability for most. For most, their house is not producing
income for them. So, if you take a look at your bank statement at
the end of the month, or the end of the year and you find that the
majority of your income is going toward stuff, then you'll discover that
you're not getting ahead and experiencing true freedom.
Those that are truly financially free have
learned to invest in assets. Remember, an asset is anything that
produces income for you. One of the main reasons that I chose to
work in this industry, and to build multiple streams of income, is the
fact that my business is primarily founded on building assets.
Each of my opportunities creates a residual income for me that pays each
